4TH Race Of The Season A Success
With funding again coming in at the last minute I was able to make it into the Friday afternoon pratice session. The weather for the weekend looked to be great compaired to last month's race.
Due to the points standings I was in the A race for Saturday . I qualifyied 10th.
The Saturday race went good, I finished 11th . There were only 3 seconds between 1st and last across the finish line. We looked like one big train coming across the line.
Saturdays finish put me in the B Main race on Sunday. I qualifyied 4th out of the 15 racers in the B race. The start was a little scary and tight. I got pushed back to 5th and then quickly got it back on the 1st lap. I then picked off and grabbed 3rd spot on the 2nd lap. The 3 of us then left the pack and jockeyed for the win. To no avail ... 3rd it was for me.
