Teaming up for the third year in a row with Racers Edge Motorsports, Nick Galante will be driving in the highly competitive Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge series in the #79 Mustang Boss 302R. Galante's first scheduled race is May 2-3, 2014 on his home track at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in Monterey, California. Paired up with Luis Schiavo, a Racers Edge team driver from 2001-2004 and a talented and fast driver with over 20 years of experience in karting and open-wheel driving, the duo will be determined and focused on competing for the podium.
Despite limited opportunities to drive on track in the Mustang and the GS class cars, Galante's record proves he is an indomitable competitor. In Nick's 7 races in 3 years with 7 different co-drivers and 2 different teams driving in the GS class, he is driving lap times comparable to the top 10 drivers who are racing year round in a single car, with a single co-driver, and with one team. Galante is talented, motivated--and not to be missed.
